Leading notetaking app enters the smartphone market with added Google Drive support
NANTES, France – Feb. 6, 2018 – MyScript, a pioneering market leader in accurate, high-performance handwriting interpretation and digital ink management technology, announces their award-winning notetaking app, Nebo, is now available for Samsung’s Galaxy Note8 and also includes support for the entire family of Galaxy Note devices starting with the Note3. This release will also now include support for Google Drive. MyScript Nebo makes handwritten digital document creation intuitive and highly productive by enabling users to write, solve complex mathematical equations, draw diagrams, format and convert to digital form.
“Nebo and MyScript’s Interactive Ink foundations rely on high-quality writing devices. Supporting the world’s leading smartphone containing an active pen and designed to take notes is obvious,” said Denis Manceau, MyScript’s vice president of product management. “With the addition of Google Drive to the list of Nebo-supported cloud service providers, we’re better equipping users to seamlessly create and edit their Nebo documents on any device.”
Utilizing MyScript’s Interactive Ink technology, Nebo combines the flexibility of natural pen input and the benefits of handwriting combined with the power, speed and efficiency of digital computing. With the use of the S Pen, Nebo users on Note devices now have access to intuitive digital writing, editing and formatting via simple gestures.
“We know people also want to access their notes on mobile devices,” Manceau continued. “Nebo takes it several steps further by reflowing their handwriting, so it remains easy to read on smaller screens, while continuing to allow natural editing and creation. All of this with notes in sync with their other devices – a productivity gain not seen before in handwriting applications.”
The Nebo expansion to the Note family comes on the heels of the announcement of MyScript’s optimization of Nebo for the Google Pixelbook, thereby expanding the app to Chrome OS on the Google Play store. More of industry’s biggest players are turning their attention to the rapidly growing writing device market and as consumer demand for innovation in digital writing technology increases, MyScript will continue to bring Interactive Ink and Nebo to more devices.
